Top day to day utilities

Filezilla - The FileZilla Client not only supports FTP, but also FTP over TLS (FTPS) and SFTP. It is open source software distributed free of charge under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

Keepass - Today you need to remember many passwords. You need a password for the Windows network logon, your e-mail account, your website's FTP password, online passwords (like website member account), etc. etc. etc. The list is endless.

Notepad++ - Notepad++ is a free (as in “free speech” and also as in “free beer”) source code editor and Notepad replacement that supports several languages. Old but still very much supported and just works.

Greenshot - Greenshot is the most awesome tool for making screenshots you can get on your Windows PC.

Simplenote - the best online (web based) notepad I have found thus far (20240218). IT'S FREE. Simplenote uses Markdown (if you like), you can share notes to other simplenote users and publish via a shared link.

Simplenote is an easy way to keep notes, lists, ideas, and more. Written by the guys who gave us Wordpress - so has to be great right? I LOVE IT!

Rememberthemilk - Remember The Milk is the popular to-do list that's everywhere you are: from your phone, to the web, to your Google apps, and more.

Techy and quirky but a great app online and for the most part free. Remember all those todo's, events, birthdays, etc. Works on mobiles and web browsers.
